We offer unlimited mileage car hire in Tenerife, meaning you can explore the entire island without worrying about extra charges for the distance traveled.
For insurance coverage to remain valid, only drivers registered in the rental contract are allowed to drive the vehicle. Let us know in advance if you need to add an additional driver.
We operate with a fair fuel policy: the car must be returned with the same fuel level as it had when you picked it up. If the fuel level is lower, a refueling charge will apply.
Your rental includes mandatory car insurance as well as third-party liability coverage, protecting you against any potential damage or legal liability caused to other vehicles, property, or individuals.
Your rental includes Theft Protection (TP), ensuring you won’t be held financially responsible if the vehicle is stolen. Please keep in mind that personal belongings inside the car are not covered under this insurance.
To rent a car with us, you must meet the following requirements:
•Minimum age: 30 years old.
•Driving experience: A valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of experience is required.
Planning to take the car to another island? Please note that if the vehicle experiences any issues on a different island, the renter is responsible for all transport costs to return the car to Tenerife.
What Is NOT Covered by the Rental Car Insurance?
If the vehicle’s key is lost or broken, the renter will be responsible for the full cost of replacement and reprogramming, as well as any towing expenses if the vehicle becomes immobilized.
If you accidentally fill the vehicle with the wrong type of fuel, the costs for repair, tank drainage, and any engine damage will be charged to the renter. Always check the fuel type before refueling.
If an accident occurs while the driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, all insurance coverage will be void. The renter will be fully liable for all damages and legal consequences.
Any fines, parking tickets, or other legal infractions incurred during the rental period are the full responsibility of the renter. The car rental company is not responsible for paying fines on behalf of the customer.
The insurance does not cover damages caused by:
•Speeding or reckless driving.
•Driving off-road or on prohibited terrains.
•Negligence or failure to follow traffic laws.
The insurance does not cover stolen, lost, or forgotten personal items left inside the vehicle. We recommend never leaving valuables inside the car and using secure parking areas whenever possible.
Prohibited Uses of the Rental Car
Rental cars cannot be used to push, tow, or pull any other vehicle, trailer, or object. This action can cause serious mechanical damage and is strictly prohibited.
Placing luggage, sports equipment, or any objects on the roof of the rental car is not allowed. This can damage the vehicle, affect aerodynamics, and increase accident risks.
Driving while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any medication that affects driving ability is strictly prohibited. Any violations will result in the loss of insurance coverage and full financial liability for damages.
Driving on non-asphalted roads, beaches, or any off-road terrain is not allowed. Rental cars must only be used on official, paved roads to avoid damage and liability issues.
Drivers must always follow traffic laws. The following actions are strictly prohibited:
•Excessive speeding or aggressive driving.
•Dangerous maneuvers that put others at risk.
•Ignoring road safety regulations.
